Lots of aluminum machining parts can be converted to aluminum high pressure die casting parts, especially aluminum telecommunication parts which have precise dimension and complicated structure but don't have heat treatment requirements. With considerable design adaptation, lots of those parts can be converted to high pressure die casting parts so as to cut production cast dramatically.

Surface treatment: aluminum precision machining parts are made from aluminum wrought alloy which is suited to nearly all surface treatments including electroplating, powder coating, electrophoresis, painting, polishing and specially color anodizing.
Heat treatment: Nearly all kinds of heat treatment can be applied for aluminum wrought alloy machined parts.
Flexible design limitation: Precision machined aluminum wrought alloy parts have much more flexible design limitation than any other casting processes. However some concaved features is also not suited to precision machined part.
High precision: Precision machining can achiever very high precision up to 0.001mm, which is an incredible job any kinds of aluminum casting.
High production cost: High precision beams high production cost. It is true for aluminum precision machining, and that is why we are eager to converting precision machining parts to high pressure die casting parts.
Notes of converting to high pressure die casting part
Reduction of mechanical property: One main factor prevents precision machined parts to be converted to high pressure die cast part is the unacceptable decreasing mechanical property.
Necessary design adaptation: the initial adaptation is to remove any incastable features, then add necessary draft angles and edges rounds.
The other thing is to adjust the dimension tolerance and carry out proper and economical machining allowance for die casting parts.
