In Ningbo area, aluminum die casting of auto parts has been blooming along with flourish of china auto manufacturing from 2002.
Parison machinery set up our Ningbo aluminum and zinc die casting factory in 2006, with the initial aim of entering world auto spare part market. All of our die casting facilities were introduced as per auto parts production requirements. Aluminum die cast auto parts are widely in each section of a car body. Lots of auto spare parts are now produced by aluminum high pressure die casting or gravity casting ( permanent mold casting ). The main high pressure die cast auto parts are listed as follows.

Special facility for die cast auto parts
In order to meet high density requirement for die cast auto parts, we introduced advanced YIZUMI cold chamber die casting machines for regular casting of auto parts. Such cold chamber die casting machines have better precision control capacity and larger injection force compared with common die casting machines.
All of our CNC machining equipments are imported from Japan. In Parsion Ningbo, we can process precision machining for die cast auto parts by 4-axes machining centers and CNC turning machines, CNC drilling and tapping centers.
The vacuum impregnation equipment is introduced to treat water or gas tight auto parts such as cylinder housing and headers. The equipment can effectively heal the inner porosity and improve the surface quality for further treatments.
high pressure die cast auto parts compared with gravity cast auto parts
In early time, aluminum gravity cast auto parts are more used than aluminum high pressure die cast auto parts. For its simple process, low starting investment, and quite higher casting precision compared with aluminum sand casting. Aluminum gravity casting is widely used to produce wheel spoke and gas pipe.
However, aluminum gravity casting process has its critical disadvantage that it is not suitable for mass production. Though gravity casting process can be facilitated by special machines, its simple mold structure which can be hard to fix cooling system leads to low production yield than high pressure die casting. Furthermore high pressure die casting can achieve much higher precision than aluminum gravity casting process. The only disadvantage of high pressure die casting as to inner porosity is gradually improved by innovating technology.
