Aluminum die cast distribution hub housing is applied in telecommunication facility. It is a precision die cast housing with lots of heat sinks at the bottom. These heat sinks are hard to solidify because of its long and thin shape. The other critical and tight requirement is that it should be air proof. Thus the deformation of the opening should be controlled within very tight tolerance. While the opening is square with dimension of 300mm × 470mm, thus an functional cooling system should be applied to control the mold temperature, and the ejection system should also be very accurate and effective.
Furthermore, the distribution hub is used in dust-free house. The die cast housing is required to be powder coated for surface decoration and corrosion resistance. The shiny white powder layer always results to high rejection rate, for even slight defect can be vary evident on its white fine surface.....

Aluminum die cast electronic appliance housing
Aluminum die cast housings are preferable for most heavy electronic appliances, because of its metal property and the precision and complication which die casting process can achieve. Our die cast housing is for an electronic motor of garage door. The housing have two versions, one of which has six tapping holes and the other has a solid bottom. The main technique difficulty is tapping holes on the thin bottom of nearly 4mm thickness.
Because of its working environment, the die cast housing is required for passivation treatment. There are lots of surface passivation treatments. As the parts ask for Rosh and CE compliance, we chose particular passivation treatment to reducing its environment impact....

Zinc die cast medal
Zinc alloy has a larger density than aluminum alloy. Because of this property, zinc die cast parts are always used for decoration, especially medals ,cups and other heavy feeling parts. Besides, as decorative products, the zinc die cast parts always involves lots of surface finishing, such as powder coating, painting, chrome plating, nickel plating and brushing. This zinc die cast medal have several versions of surface treatment. And actually it is technique difficult is its surface finishing. Because it needles mirror polishing before we do further powder coating and chrome plating, we choose large tonnage machine to cast it to achiever much better density and correspondingly reduce its porosity....

Aluminum extruded heat sink converted into die cast part
Aluminum extrusion and die casting are two distinguishing manufacturing process. The extruded part have to be a same sectional view, and can achieve 1-2 mm wall thickness. While the die casting part has its only technique limitation such as draft angles, edge rounds and minimum thickness.
While converting this extruded part into die casting parts, we first adapt its heat sinks' thickness to 2mm, and apply draft angles and edge rounds to necessary sections. Besides adaptation of design, the material for these tw o production processes should also be adjusted. Because the wrought aluminum alloy for extrusion is not suitable for die casting, as its rather bad fluidity. We have to choose a die casting aluminum alloy to achieve similar mechanical property of its extruded part....
